Beauty Execs Ranking on the Forbes Billionaires List

Bernard Arnault & family from LVMH, as well as Francoise Bettencourt Meyers & family from L’Oreal, rank in the top 20.

Forbes released its 2026 Billionaires List, ranking the richest business owners in the beauty industry and beyond.

In the list of 3,428 entrepreneurs, investors, and heirs, 29 have links to the beauty and wellness industry.

Ranking in the top 20 are Bernard Arnault & family from LVMH, as well as Françoise Bettencourt Meyers & family from L’Oreal. 

French entrepreneur and chairman and CEO of LVMH, Arnault, is worth $171 billion. Ranking 20th is Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, beauty’s richest woman, with $100 billion. 

Alan and Gerard Wertheimer, the co-owners of Chanel, have an estimated worth of $34.9 billion each.

Honorary chairman and co-founder of Kering, François Pinault, has an estimated net worth of $29.5 billion.

L Brands founder Les Wexner– the man behind Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works – has a net worth of $8.8 billion.

Grupo Boticario founder, Miguel Krigsner, placed 595 with an estimated $6.8 billion net worth.

Estée Lauder’s youngest son, Ronald Lauder, is the sole heir to The Estée Lauder Companies’ fortune and ranked 869th with a net worth of $4.9 billion.

Chairman and executive director of L’Occitane en Provence, Reinold Geiger, ranked 1074 with a $4 billion fortune.

The 1611th position was shared among a variety of beauty founders, each with a $2.6 billion net worth.

Those include Daniel Rocher, the son of Yves Rocher; Jane Lauder, granddaughter of cosmetics legend; Shanghai Chicmax Cosmetic; and Byunghoon Kimm, co-founder and CEO of South Korean beauty-device maker APR.

Next, with a worth of $2.4 billion, is Sylvia Stroeher, who sold her family’s 80% of hair-care group Wella AG to Procter & Gamble.

Celebrity and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has a net worth of $1.9 billion, and is set to enter beauty this year, alongside other ventures.

William Lauder, grandson of Estée Lauder and the eldest son of Leonard Lauder, has an estimated wealth of $1.8 billion. Aerin Lauder, the eldest daughter of Ronald Lauder, also has a wealth of $1.8bn.

Amorepacific chairman Suh Kyung-bae has a worth of $1.6 billion.

Nautra & Co founder Antonio Luiz Seabra ranks in the 3185th position with a net worth of $1.1 billion.

Finally, Fenty Beauty’s founder, Rihanna, ranks at 3332, with a net worth of $1 billion.
